Ride!

Happy Friday!
Today is the day my son graduates from high school!
So I am using an image that reminds me of him. He had a scooter that we took everywhere and he would zoom around!

The image is "My Scooter" from A Day for Daisies:
Clean and simple for a busy day!  I had the help of Freshly Made Sketches #188:

There are beautiful and sweet cards of the blogs of my design teammates (definitely worth your time):
Arielle
Broni
Christine
Juliana
Mila

There is still time to join us for our challenge on the A Day for Daisies Blog!  Challenge #122: Use three patterned papers!!

Have a great day!

Friendship Circle

Happy Friday!!
Of course I have an "A Day for Daisies" card to share with you today!
We are showcasing "Oh Boy and Girly Girls"!

I had the joy of using Ring Around the Rosie:
This brings back memories of sun dresses, chains of clovers, and bare feet. (I always loved going barefoot!)  I colored the image with Copic markers, and the patterned papers were from Graphic 45, Memory Box, and Basic Grey.

There are some SUPER adorable cards on the blogs of my design teammates:
Arielle
Broni

Juliana
Mila
AND it is time for a new challenge on the A Day for Daisies Blog!!!!!
Challenge #122 is to use THREE different patterned papers on your project!  We are eager to see what you come up with, so I hope you come and join us!

Enjoy your weekend! For those of you in the United States, I hope you have a moment to reflect on the meaning of the weekend.  To those of you who have been touched personally, I hope you can share your memories of your loved one who served and find comfort.

Thank you for stopping by my blog, today.

Feed the birds

Happy Friday!
Today is very special to me, as it is my oldest daughter's 17th birthday!

In honor of her, the little girl in "Feeding the Birds" from A Day for Daisies has red hair and freckles, just like my daugher.
She is colored with Copic markers.  By the way, these birds do not appear in nature as I have colored them, only in my imagination.

There are more beautiful creations on the blogs of my fellow design team members:

I hope you can  join us for our latest challenge: Challenge #121!

Thanks for stopping by my blog, today!
